Due to COVID-19 regulations, we must cancel the annual Pumpkin Olympics smash fest. But, we are excited to announce a Punkin Chunkin’ Day on the afternoon of October 10, starting at 12:30pm.

The Pumpkin Stand will begin operation on Thursday, September 17. We have planted a large variety of pumpkins, all sorts of sizes and colors, including traditional pumpkins, stackers, gourds, straw bales, corn shocks, mums, etc.

The Pick-Your-Own field will open later in September.

We are about half way through the strawberry season. We hope to be open at least 2 more weeks, but rain/wet/hot conditions can quickly change things. The Stand opens @ 10am on Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat, and most days we are sold out by 10:30.

Pre-picked quarts are $7. PYO remains closed for the season.

The strawberry stand is finally open, but the supply is very limited this first week. The current price is $6 per quart box.

Hours this week: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 10am until sold out (which may be noon? 1pm? 11am?)

*Note… Pick-Your-Own is officially closed for the entire 2020 season.

The start of the strawberry season has been delayed by the cold weather. Hopefully, we will have berries by the last week in May, but that may be wishful thinking since we are seeing mostly blossoms right now rather than the “little green berries” stage. Stay tuned for updates!

Typically, we have a few berries ripening by early to mid-May, and last year we opened the stand by the 13th. NOT this year! April & May have had many cold days and nights, including several sub-32 degree nights. We had to pull the blankets/covers out of storage again this weekend, in the attempt to save as many berries as possible.

ONLY pre-picked berries will be available in 2020, due to a loss of plants/berries and the COVID-19 situation. Pick-Your-Own strawberries will NOT be offered during the 2020 season.

Our strawberry crop will be in short supply this year. The plants have been in distress since they were planted in the Fall. The plants were in poor condition when they arrived from the nursery, and with the hot and dry Fall, they could not recover before winter. Over 6000 plants died. Of the plants that survived, the Spring’s fluctuating temperatures started plants to blooming early, then those blooms/berries were frozen to death when temps dropped.

With only 8 more days of October remaining, it’s time venture to the pumpkin farm. Beautiful pumpkins are waiting for your selection. The Pick-Your-Own and the large Stand will remain open through Nov 1. After Nov 1, we will begin the transition to a small Stand (only) and prepare for the Pumpkin Olympics festival (Nov 9.)

There is a beautiful October weekend on tap and it’s Pumpkin Time! We have the Stand fully stocked with a huge variety of pumpkin sizes, shapes and colors; plus a wide array of gourds, mini pumpkins, straw bales (large & mini), corn stalks, corn bunches, and large beautiful mums.

If you prefer a grander fun, family Fall adventure, you are invited into the pumpkin patch to search for your own pumpkin perfection. After filling your wagon, take a few extra moments for photos in the field with your finds. Saunter back to the Stand area and enjoy some family time at the playground & small house and/or play the various pumpkin games, including Pumpkin Putt-Putt (bowl a pumpkin through the 9-hole mini golf course), Ring Toss and Skee-Pumpkin.
