Pumpkins- Thankful

I’m thankful for pumpkins, my family, and great workers this season. I find joy in picking pumpkins and gourds… discovering what beauty is beneath the next leaf. I give thanks to my Heavenly Father for his creativity, and marvel in his goodness and grace. what are YOU thankful for on this beautiful day?

The pumpkin stand is open Monday-Saturday, 9:00am-6:30pm and Sunday noon – 5:00pm. Bring your family on a pumpkiny adventure and spend some quality time playing and searching among over 50 varieties of pumpkins for the perfect sizes, shapes and colors for your home.

Pumpkin Stand Open

The pumpkin season has officially started.

Pumpkin Stand hours:

Mon – Sat: 9:00am – 6:30pm;  Sunday 12 – 5pm

We have planted over 50 varieties of seeds which yielded a large selection of sizes and colors of pumpkins, squash and gourds.  Sunflowers, straw bales, corn shocks, mums, and colored popcorn corn bunches are also for sale.  We are a family-friendly, small farm that delivers a “Big farm” experience, but without the crowds and high prices,

Strawberries are finished

The strawberry season is finished. The pumpkins and squash have been planted and will be ready by mid-September. New this year… sunflowers! See you in the Fall.

Strawberry Season is over… FRIDAY Last chance!

Friday is the LAST DAY of the season.  The rain has wiped out the last hope of extending the season.  There are a very limited number of pre-picked quarts.  The PYO field is closed… everything has been picked.

Stand open Friday @ 8am

The Strawberry Stand will be open Friday @ 8am. PYO fields are closed for the season, so only pre-picked will be available. This is possibly the last day… we will let you know if there are berries available next week.

Strawberries- Last week??

The strawberry crop has declined sharply, therefore, we will be only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and possibly Saturday this week, 8am to 5pm (or until sold out.) The last days of the season may be June 17, 19, 21 (and 22?). If berries are available after that, we will let you know.

Saturday Open 8am-noon(?)

Due to the storage of strawberries, on Saturday we will open at 8am and close around noon, or whenever the berries run out.

Strawberry farms around the region are experiencing a good first set of berries, and then the season quickly ends. That’s what we are also experiencing. Too much rain last Fall and this Spring has resulted in loss of plants, and weakened roots and plant systems. Therefore, the volume of good strawberries is greatly reduced in our area.

Limited PYO Thursday

Due to the rain and an extremely high volume of berries picked this week, there will be a very limited amount of PYO strawberries available on Thursday morning (6/6). The Pick Your Own (PYO) patches need a day of rest and will be open again on Friday and Saturday. Our apologies to those who were planning a “big outing” to the strawberry farm on Thursday, hopefully you can reschedule for a different day.

Pre-picked berries will be available, while supplies last, @ $5 per quart box.
