The 2025 strawberry season is moving into full-swing mode. We are now open 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, starting at 9:00am each day. Closing time is determined by daily availability… we could sell out at any time, but generally we close about 6:30pm (5:00 on Saturday.) 50+ varieties of pumpkins of all shapes, colors and sizes await your arrival. Jump into Fall with an outing to our pumpkin farm to pick your own pumpkin from the field, or select from those we picked. Allow time to play the free games… bowl a pumpkin through the Pumpkin Putt-Putt course, or race mini pumpkins down the Pumpkin Derby track. Add some colorful mums, straw bales, corn bunches, squash, gourds and corn shocks to your wagon, and you’re set!
The season is winding down. We will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 9am, until sold out. Each day we will have pre-picked berries, and hopefully have some PYO rows available. Yes, there are berries, but picking takes a little more work to fill a tray as the supply dwindles. IF we have berries beyond Friday, we will let you know. Wednesday through Saturday open at 9:00am for Pick-Your-Own (PYO) and pre-picked berries. Lots of great strawberries waiting to be picked. We should have enough berries to be open most of the day, instead of constantly closing early. However, if you plan to arrive after 2:00pm, you may want to call to check availability. (610)593-5656.
Our goal is to be open Monday through Saturday, 9am-7pm, or while supplies last. Closed Sunday. PLEASE check our website, our voicemail, Facebook or Instagram for up-to-date information. Most days we are completely sold out by 12-2pm. Some days we need to close the Pick-Your-Own early, or we run out of pre-picked berries.
The strawberries are excellent this year, super sweet with all the abundant sunshine. Demand for berries has been high, PYO customers have been numerous, and we have been blessed with beautiful picking weather (except for those 5:30 mornings when it’s only 39-41 degrees when we start picking the pre-picked berries.) Unfortunately, it is VERY dry, the driest May since 1939 with only 1/4 of rain, so our production is lower than normal. We do irrigate, but we need rain because our house well can’t keep up with the needed water. I apologize for the constantly changing hours and days of operation, but the supply and demand isn’t adding up this year.
Open Saturday @ 10am. The strawberry season is just beginning. The first few days, we will sell pre-picked quarts only ($7 each). To begin, we will be open every other day (Saturday, Monday, Wednesday…) starting at 10am, until sold out. As quantity increases, more days and hours will be added. PYO fields will hopefully open Memorial Weekend, IF we have enough berries!
The strawberry plants look great and are full of flowers, with green berries growing. We estimate the first RED strawberries will be ready in about 1.5 weeks, or about May 19-20ish (for pre-picked berries only). The Pick-your-own fields usually open about a week after the first RED berries begin. At this point the start date is an educated guess as weather is always the prime factor in determining the speed of berries ripening. Stay tuned!
